  4. :: Starting sometime next week, Flags Violet and I will be bringing you the (mostly) just and (refreshingly) eloquent movie reviews by our avid movie watcher and all weather short wearer friend Zane. This new section will be fittingly called Cinephilia. Quite a few of the movies he’s recommended in the past (and that I had surprisingly not heard of before) proved to be excellent, whether I actually liked them or not (because when something is well or exceptionally done, it’s quality, meaning, relevance, influence, etc is not necessarily disputable - regardless of whether one likes it or not - and so something that should probably be experienced anyways). All this to say Zane exposed me to movies I might have not found otherwise (or much later) and that I hope he might do the same for you, whether you’re passionate about cinema or just the occasional movie watcher ::

  9. :: I have been receiving numerous inquiries/requests regarding G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T portrait I posted a few weeks back, which has been both unexpected and encouraging. Gave it some thought (mostly due to time and logistical constraints) and have decided to print and release a limited run of this portrait, in two versions and two sizes (one will be a 5x7, the other in my signature 13x19 print size), and to price them as reasonably as I can. These will most likely be limited to an edition of 7 prints each, will be hand printed, signed & numbered, and released through Flags Violet. Stay tuned and consider contacting me if you’re interest. First come first served, naturally, but I am more than willing to accept pre-orders/set asides when it comes to serious inquiries. Thanks for the support and the many messages, it’s sincerely appreciated ::

  13. :: SPECIAL DELIVERY :: DAYV MATTT ::
    Photographer Dayv Mattt kindly & generously sent me a copy of his slick book, High Street Low Street (which was delivered along with some unexpected goodies including some stickers, postcards & a letter). In his own words the book is about “walking, experiencing, and capturing the daily routine, atmosphere, and excitement of Seoul”. The printing is of high quality, the moments he’s captured are striking & full of details, the book’s unusually large format is great and so yeah, I certainly recommend you consider picking up a physical or digital copy of High Street Low Street. The book itself is limited to 500 copies too, don’t sleep. His blog is equally entertaining and colorful, pay him a visit sometime.
